Raquel Cherry, LICSW, LCSW is the owner of Healing Through Therapy LLC.
Raquel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Washington, District of Columbia and Virginia. Raquel also holds licensure in Maryland. Raquel has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Nazareth College in Rochester New York. She has worked with individuals and families for over a decade in various settings to include clinics, hospitals, shelters, schools and in private practice. Her academic endeavors, life experiences and faith in God have equipped her for this work. Raquel is passionate about supporting people as they learn more about themselves, embrace life's challenges and embrace God's best for their life!
What We Do
Healing Through Therapy, LLC is equipped to service a variety of clients however, our specialty is in working with women experiencing depression, anxiety, life transition, trauma, family of origin conflicts, relationship breakdowns, parenting alone, discovering purpose among other areas. Our tele-health enabled; client-centered model of care doesn't pose as a barrier for most clients instead, it makes us unique and increasingly accessible to clients.
All therapeutic services are delivered from an empirically based model which means these models are scientifically proven to be successful when appropriately implemented by the client.
*Additionally, Professional Clinical Supervision is a service available to mental health providers who wish to be clinically licensed in the District of Columbia.
